Re: Why do mammograms ...

Thread is about mammography. By all means start a separate thread about cancer or individual cancers and associated vaccines.

Looking forward to JBR's research and evidence. It's important we give him chance to post it up so we can make informed decisions.

I don't think anybody would suggest that you are derailing this thread, by answering Annie's question, unless of course you are unable to answer it!
Don't worry I am sure she will give you time to read up on the internet!

Re: Why do mammograms ...

I'm already suggesting it. You are attempting to divert attention and the discussion away from the challenge that has been put to JBR to provide credible evidence to support his refuting of the Cochrane, The Lancet and other solid evidential data.

Let him provide his evidence

Re: Why do mammograms ...

Whilst we wait, and for the serious readers out there still examining the available information, here is another study, in the British Medical Journal, a follow up from the Cochrane study of patients in Canada

Twenty five year follow-up for breast cancer incidence and mortality of the Canadian National Breast Screening Study: randomised screening trial

https://www.bmj.com/content/348/bmj.g366

"Conclusion Annual mammography in women aged 40-59 does not reduce mortality from breast cancer beyond that of physical examination or usual care when adjuvant therapy for breast cancer is freely available. Overall, 22% of screen detected invasive breast cancers were over-diagnosed, representing one over-diagnosed breast cancer for every 424 women who received mammography screening in the trial.

"in technically advanced countries, our results support the views of some commentators that the rationale for screening by mammography should be urgently reassessed by policy makers"

Re: Why do mammograms ...

Hpv immunisation is relevant to this thread because it's linked to the same cancer screening programme of which breast screening is part. Hpv vaccination should prevent the need for cervical screens. Realist on this thread you mentioned that vaccination s are all a pharma driven con. Would you say the same applies to hpv vaccination too?

Sigh.

Right I will start a thread for you. I have no info on this particular vaccine but am always interested in stuff so I have done an hour's worth to ascertain the basics. I will post up my findings.

I'm assuming you are taking your time because you're trying to find negatives in the programme and drawing a blank?
