I've been accused of the same. There's a difference between strong opinions and playing games. Most of us are too grown up for the latter.

Nah, Annie, when you beat us at cricket, it's known as a fluke!

Some of us, (me, for instance), are far too grown up for the latter, Annie.

No, have to be honest, I won't be donating, Muddy. I see needy people in my country every day.

(...and I don't even donate to them! )

No, not quite, I do donate old clothes and the like, to the local Salvo shops..

Have you been on the wine? It was me, not Annie, that mentioned the cricket!
I hope your cricket team don't drink that much!

We are doing what we have been for a while water aid, I think they are active in many regions and are providing water which is what most places need. No idea what else would help at the moment and we trust them. That's another problem IMO knowing who to give to. Who won't misuse the money.

Hence they charge £8000 for a visa for aid workers to bring in aid .

That is so true Muddy. These Dictators live like Royalty in Paltial homes, and their families have everything the need usually designer goods, and they all have large amounts of aid money in 'Off Shore Accounts'and Property in London as well.
Ironically many of them where educated in the best Universities in the World including UK so they do know right from wrong .

They are quie happy to let their people starve so that they can keep getting more and more World Aid to front their luxurious life style.

This has been going on for years and will continue.
