That didn't do his no claims any good, I suppose it's testament to the safety features fitted that all the drivers walked away from theses crashes.

My last OH used to make the monocoques for the F1 McLaren team cars. They did get lighter & stronger. Didn't save Bruce though, he hit a concrete marshalls post.
