Re: Fears of Corbyn's IRA Links Growing

I can't help feeling it was a different time many people supported the idea of Ireland being one country, Sinn Fein was the political arm that people hoped might bring it about. I never knew anyone supported ira and the violence but many supported the idea they fought for.

Jeremy was one who did that I would like to hear him say he didn't support the violence bug I have no problem with him supporting a united Ireland.

Oddly same people say he's a pacifist also berate him for supporting violence, that just confuses me he can't be both.

I see no problem at all in creating a united Ireland with one simple proviso:

that the people of Northern Ireland vote with a majority to leave the UK and join Eire.

The problem was that Comrade Corbyn supported the IRA, a terrorist organisation.

For the record, I do not support either Corbyn or the IRA.

I don't think he did, he's said repeatedly he supported Sinn Fein not ira. I believe him, as a fellow pacifist he couldn't support violence.

The man has shook hands with terrorists and murderers no thanks.
By not condemning he gives tacit approval

It's part of the peace process to shake hands and try to make things better.

Possibly but Thatcher wasn't hoping to get blown up.
