Re: May versus Corbyn

I can't bear to watch it, I'd end up shouting and getting in a grump with May especially but also if Corbyn went all soppy.
All I know is if the Blue Meanies get in for another 5 years I won't survive!

Re: May versus Corbyn

Finished watching the show.

May handled the grilling far better than the "Gnome" Corbyn. He just doesn't have the pedigree or nouse to stand up to serious questioning.
Gotta feel sorry for the Labourites having him as their front man.

He's a threat to national security, totally soft and wishy-washy and just doesn't connect with the public at large. At a time in the life of the UK when we need tight border controls, a strong focus on security and clear direction, a vote for Corbyn to run the UK would imo be akin to asking Mr Bean to run the show.

Re: May versus Corbyn

He strikes me as a man who actually hates this country and will do anything in his power to bring it down

Re: May versus Corbyn

The part I think I like the most was when Paxo asked May - several times - whether she was prepared to leave the EU without a deal.

To which she answered - repeatedly - "No deal is better than a bad deal."

Paxman didn't feel inclined to take this as an answer to his question, but to my mind the expression "No deal is better than a bad deal" states precisely that, that she would be prepared to leave the EU without a deal.

Yes, I think she stood up to him very well indeed.

Re: May versus Corbyn

I'm fed up of listening to them all, ( especially that Amber Rudd!)
Theresa May looks whacked out!
Poor Jeremy, he looks better these days as if he's had a make over. Other than that, he hasn't got a lot going for himself!

Re: May versus Corbyn

Cannot bear either of them. 2017 and politics in the UK has reached an all-time low. Green Party have the best manifesto but they are standing down for labour in many areas. Very disappointing all round.
