Re: Brexit - Public's Views

Why do I get the impression that the original poster is somebody who shouldn't be posting on an over 50's forum?
I will apologize if I am wrong, but I can't help thinking this was a complaint from a young person.

Rules are you have to be over 18 according to terms and conditions we sign. So you could be right and it wouldn't be against the rules.

Does anyone now of a forum (or other mechanism) where the public can actually have a voice?
It's a fact that those who didn't vote are quite irrelevant because they obviously didn't care either way, and amongst those who did care there was a majority for out. As others have said, that is democracy. What part of that don't you understand?

You know, Twinky, I got the same impression.

I sometimes wonder when this incessant bleating will stop. Ten years after Brexit will they still be at it? Bleat, bleat, bleat.

Incidentally, the EU having been threatening us with outrageous demands for 'financial recompense', this report came as what I see as poetic justice!

What? You mean when the country is blooming again?

I'm sure we'll be very grateful for your thanks!

the sooner they get on with it instead of just talking about it the sooner we can sort the country out and remove all the uncertainty. The worst programme on telly tonight = brexit question time.

Re: Brexit - Public's Views

Well Brexit won't happen overnight, it will take time to organize. If we want to blame somebody for the slow progress, try those who have been constantly trying to reverse the democratic vote, by looking for methods to invalidate it
