Re: Knee pain

The quadriceps muscle, (thigh) holds your knee joint in place. It is also the fastest muscle to dystrophy (waste away) when not exercised regularly.

I would suggest that the pain you're experiencing is coming from the knee moving from side to side, straining the cartilage in the knee.

Sit upright in a chair and, with a small weight attached to the foot, straighten the leg from the knee. Do this 10 times, three times a day.

Meanwhile, when sat in the armchair, clench your thigh muscle regularly. The pain should go within a week as the thigh muscle strengthens.

Re: Knee pain

This knee pain goes remind me of cartilage damage. I asked the physio at the gym(we are going back about 8? years) and he said-go to the Dr,you will be told to take pain killers and come back in about a month. When you go back and the pain is still around you will be referred to a surgeon.

And so it was.........day opp,a little `wash out` no more pain.

Re: Knee pain

Voltarol for the pain.
See a Sports Physio (private) for a second opinion... he'll probably tell you it's a trapped nerve and give you exercises...worked for lord ruthio and for sister-in-law when GPs weren't any help ( except co codamol)
