Stair lifts

I am looking at having a stairlift fitted for my wife.
A straight 13 step stair
I have done some research, I.e. Which, Arthritis sites and read some review sites. It seems a minefield out there with regard to prices etc. Is there anyone here who has some experience or advice on this?

Re: Stair lifts

None rehab we aren't allowed one here council just refuse to let us have one. But I agree it's a minefield. Do you know anyone got one locally it may be a chat to a real person and look at theirs might help you.

Re: Stair lifts

Thanks Julie, unfortunately all my neighbours seem to live in Lycra and wear bicycle helmets so do not need stair lifts

Re: Stair lifts

I could ring my mother but quite honestly I doubt she would remember who installed it or what it cost.

Re: Stair lifts

Hi Rehab 'Which' did a survey of stair lifts you would need to join temporarily if you want to see all the review but quite a lot is visible.

http://www.which.co.uk/reviews/stair...article/guides

My sister's late MIL had a stair lift a straight one, I will be speaking to my sister on the phone later and will ask her where they got it from.
