Jeremy Corbyn fails to get support of his defence secretary

Jeremy Corbyn fails to get support of his defence secretary after refusal to condemn IRA,

"Jeremy Corbyn has been disowned by his shadow defence secretary Nia Griffith after his refusal to specifically condemn the IRA."

"In the past the far Left Labour leader has described Irish Republican terrorists as “freedom fighters” and “political prisoners”, put the British army on the same level as them, and shared a platform with Sinn Fein."

Wonder of he is going to condemn the the bomb outrage in Manchester.

If he is asked will he just say "I condem all bombing outrages.

As he was asked about the IRA ones

I have heard Corbyn unreservedly condemn the violent actions of the IRA when they were active.
That is not the same as condemning what was a just cause - the unification of Ireland. A cause that commands a lot of support in Ulster given the number of Sinn Fein MPs that are elected.
It is a typical deceitful tactic of the Right to conflate two issues and end up with a lie.

Hi

Simple answer, Bollocks.

The killing and maiming of innocents can never be justified.

Your support for the Omagh Bombing absolutely disgusts me.

The bone-headed, black & white world-view has its shortcomings, mainly that it stops intelligent thought. How does supporting the aims of terrorists equate with supporting their methods? Over our history, there are regular examples of terrorists we fought who became statesmen. That move across the spectrum started with covert talks that led to some sort of peace process. If we do not separate the actions from the cause, we are doomed to perpetual war and, ultimately, oppression.

And I should have mentioned that reasons are not excuses. Identifying the reasons for terrorism or any other antisocial behaviour is the first step to finding a solution. There are always reasons, to deny that is to deny reality and do we really want to live a delusional dystopia?

Hi

The reason for Manchester?

An atrocity, deliberately targeting youngsters, mostly girls, designed to terrorise us and help the establishment of a ISIS Regime here.

They can swan off, it ain't going to happen.
