Re: Not Good News

So sorry to hear this Deylon, I hope the radiotherapy is successful. I'm sure the doctors will give you something to ease any pain or soreness that occurs after.
*hugs*

Re: Not Good News

Deylon, most people's skin gets sore when they have radio therapy, but it is no worse than ordinary sunburn and I know that E45 cream, used regularly, helps. I had it on my breast area, but the best cancer hospital in the country never said that the breast would get bigger... and it didn't!
I think that the illness and fear are making you feel more down, so why not ask if you can talk to somebody about your feelings... and tell them all your worries?
I am sending hugs and wishing you well.

Re: Not Good News

Thankyou all my friends here,I feel more relaxed today. Thanks Twinks, what hospital were you under ?Had to have a smile to myself ,for a few weeks I have been considering getting a Wisteria plant ,which can be grown in a pot, advertised in a magazine, so I decided to treat myself & ordered it today, advert says delivered in 14 days, just what I need I thought, but after going through all the card / order details the sales woman said ," delivery 8 September" "Why so long "I queried, she replied " unfortunately demands have been heavy, so we are waiting for new stock to come in " Just my luck, but its something to look forward to

Hi Deylon, My Wisteria has just come into flower, and it is always so beautiful.... so worth the wait.
My cancer was fairly unusual, so they sent me the The Christie, the specialist hospital in Manchester. It is a big hospital where they only treat cancer and do cancer research. When I was a child it wasn't much bigger that an Army hut, but now it is huge!
I am glad you are feeling more relaxed and I think that most of your problems are worrying. Don't worry, you will be fine, so just adopt a positive approach and decide that you will easily get through this treatment. I did and I was surprised that it really wasn't anything to worry about....just keep using the E45 cream.
If you do have a bad day, you can always get friendly help on here... so just let us know.
