Re: Good Morning Saturday

woke up with the thunder rumbling around right overhead with fork lightning with heavy rain. now it has passed over but still very sticky weather.

yesterday on the way the the funeral on the M25 overhead gantry warning of fog patches and it was a hot sunny day. Who is the idiot who puts these notices up and the speed restrictions. We wee going along quite happily then this nut put up speed restriction signs causing not just horrendous tailbacks but also traffic had actually stopped. it took us 2.5 hours to get there but a lot less time getting back as the motorways were clear.
Not saying much about the funeral other than to say a white dove was released afterwards which was a very symbolic moment for all of us

Re: Good Morning Saturday

buenas dias all. No storm here, just sunshine and a breeze this morning. Iīm hoping for a quieter day today, the last two days have been somewhat fraught as a close friend was taken into hospital with suspected heart trouble. He and his wife were due to fly to UK for a week, but the hospital stay prevented that. So, weīve had a couple of days doing hospital shifts and an unexpected guest staying, as his wife didnīt want to stay home alone. After completing the extensive tests on our friend, he was released yesterday with medication and more appointments to keep a check on things.

My hopes for a peaceful day have now disappeared, itīs suddenly turned into a very busy day !

Have a nice day all and a good bank holiday.

Re: Good Morning Saturday

Bout an hour ago it suddenly went dark overhead, and we had some light rain. Unexpected, and unpredicted. I went out for my newspaper and it felt quite fresh. Clear blue sky now, and sunny. Weird weather.

Thunderstorms here and pounding rain. I had hoped to get some washing out, it will have to stay in on clothes horses. Hope everyone else is ok.

Morning. Aches and pains this morning. Jog yesterday has tightened up some tendons me thinks - stiff back and legs. Talk about an old crock.

Your missus must be made of strong stuff Barry. Good on her.

Re: Good Morning Saturday

Afternoon all.

When I was in Romford this morning we just had a light shower, but where I live we had a big thunder storm, it poured down.
