Re: I am looking forward to the thunderstorms.

The storms in Africa are fabulous, the air turns blue! One of many things I miss even after all these years.
It's still a bit rainy this morning, Floyd's and my arthritis were playing up so we didn't walk far this morning. It's funny how damp humid weather brings out your aches and pains.

We had some light rain about an hour ago, totally unexpected, but a light relief. It is now warm and sunny again.

The sun is out now, but not as hot as yesterday, thank goodness.

Looks like there's currently a gaggle of storms gadding up the East coast with some outriders already in York
Anyone in Grimsby or Bridlington, go get your washing in.

It has now clouded up again, it is quite breezy, and I can hear rumbles of thunder in the distance.

Thunder in the distance.....clouds rolling in and going dark.

Feet up and reaching for a San Miguel.

I don't mind thunderstorms, if l am indoors!
Do people still rush round unplugging their televisions when there's a thunderstorm?

Re: I am looking forward to the thunderstorms.

My nan used to turn all the mirrors to the wall ... I helped once .. and every single one I'd done was cracked when we turned them back round. Nothing to do with the storm.

Hee..hee
(Disclaimer: I made that up).
