One word in that article that has been at the back of my mind is TREASON...the first time I have seen it used....and exactly what these so called British Citizens are guilty of.
We had appropriate punishment for traitors in the past...

Swim I'm curious are your Muslim friends as upset as mine are about this ? It's devestated many. Also many are in favour of taking the radicals out of the community and having some sort of internment for them.

I didn't like seeing armed police yesterday in a Somerset town I visited.
It wasn't reassuring.
It's not so much the terrorist issue but thinking that any person with criminal intent will arm themselves incase there's a confrontation with police.
I'm not sure that having weapons will stop a suicide bomber, won't they just blow themselves up if confronted?
I think more sniffer dogs would help.

I haven't been into a town but I'm seeing reports that crime is generally down with police and armed soldiers on the streets that has to make people feel safer surely ?

Yes, absolutely Julie.

My Specialist Nurse is a Muslim, a vege who would not hurt a fly.

She would however trample all over ISIS.

She is a Muslim who has no time at all for Radicals.

I am Midway through an intense session of PTSD recovery, it hurts, it really does, reliving everything.

I am getting better, slowly but surely, my Physiatrist is not Muslim, but Ex Forces.

My Psychologist is Muslim, Ex Forces.

Lost his family, a great help.

A very traumatic time for me, memories coming back.

All very helpful, unlike the troll on here.

I won't pretend to know what that's like swim I just hope you get well soon.

As for our Muslim friends that's why i can't contanance all Muslims being held responsible for these acts. Most of them are dreadfully hurt by them and then they get attacked for just being a Muslim.

Oh goodness my heart bleeds for them they are so hurt .
But they don't have the hurt of knowing their child was blown to pieces
Yes to pieces -that is why details were not given out straight away .
The police had the terrible job -no wonder they are traumatised - to try and identify people including children from pieces .
So let's not make play the victim card again!
Even some Imans have at last moved themselves to speak out publicly .
And not before time , they may be good people but ...

I really fear for this country and the way things seem to be going is yet another high-powered, over-paid group formed to discuss radicalisation and how to prevent it without upsetting anyone!!!
