Yes, now that really is irony!

Labour's front bench leaders and their most public supporters. Not a single sane one amongst them! It really makes you wonder who in their right mind would vote for them.

But amazingly some still do!

And of course you are not alone. There are loads of past Labour supporters all now in exactly that same mindset. Even the actual Labour MPs who don't expect to win, plan to oust Corbyn at the first opportunity.

The old concept of Labour was lost a long time ago. BLiar came in and changed all that duping Labour supporters to get into power and then demonstrating that his New Labour party was little different to the Tories. The Iraq war was a disaster. We are now reaping the repercussions of that political era.

The populous will never again trust "Labour" whatever fanciful definition you apply to it.

That is why a completely new party needs to arise from the ashes of Labour's demise now. Unfortunately they dilly dallied, wasting too much time on fighting Corbyn and moaning and groaning and now an election is imminent so they haven't had time to form any new kind of party. Teresa May absolutely pulled the rug from under their sleeping feet by having the election quickly.

It will be a catastrophic result for Labour and for a lot of Labour MPs. It will be interesting in the aftermath to see what new party forms to fill the gap.

RIP Loony Labour

Less and less though JBR.

Thousands of Labour members leave the party after choosing not to renew subscriptions

"The Labour party have lost 10,850 members over the last four weeks, official party documents have revealed.

Thousands of members have chosen not to renew their subscription to the party and hundreds have resigned- citing Labour's approach to Brexit as the main reason.

A leaked internal analysis published in today's Times shows 6,450 members left just last week."

I look forward to the Labour party membership becoming as pure as the driven snow!

Ever noticed how we get so little snow these days compared to the old days? 'Global warming', they say!

Re: Labour Is Finished

Labour is losing thousands upon thousands of supporters and members alike. Only a fool would look at the haemorrhage rate and arrogantly say "oh but look how many we still have". Still, leave em' to it. When the blood is running dry and anaemia sets in lets see what they say.
