Would you keep a Primate as a pet?, I couldn't.

No I wouldn't, I don't think they make good pets, along with many other animals that are currently kept I may add.

I have kept one for 55 years, no problem, she has never strayed and cooks some good meals.

I agree with that, but because man is in their environment they will eventually become extinct if we don't look after them.
Take the orangutan, how we have destroyed nearly all of them, they are such a intelligent creature and so gentle.
The loggers are destroying their environment.
