Re: Primates
I donīt think you were the only one with a rabbit from hell Julie. Some years ago my friendīs husband was moving their rabbitīs daytime pen to another part of the garden. The rabbit took offence, jumped up and bit him on a rather delicate part of his body. The poor man had to go to the doctor. The doctor told him that bites from a rabbit needed immediate treatment because rabbits eat at ground level and have lots of very unpleasant bacteria on their teeth, tetanus being a real danger. My friendīs husband walked in a very strange manner for a week or two and flatly refused to go near a rabbit every again.Re: Primates
Re: Primates
No I wouldn't keep one as a pet, seems gruel to me to keep a tree loving animal stuck in a house. I have to say I don't know much about 'unusual' pets, just the usual cats and dogs type, now I'm curious to know how these little monkeys go about their toilet, can they be trained to use the bathroom? I don't suppose you could let him/her out to the garden as they might scarper.Re: Primates
I read years ago of a wild caught( as a baby )in a laboratory being trained to recognise words and phrases. He began to become very proficient & one day invented a phrase of his ownRe: Primates
