Re: My poor dog

The McTimoney practitioners work so differently to Osteopaths. The Osteopaths I saw years ago did too much yanking about and bone cracking for me and I hated it when they cracked my neck. But you imagine trying to do that to a horse or a dog in pain and you would probably soon get kicked or bitten, so to me, there has to be another way. They are all trained in the McTimoney method although no doubt some develop their own techniques after a while, (bit like we are all taught to drive but develop our own ways later), but I think I am very lucky to know such a genuinely nice person with a heart of gold, who does a darn good job on me and my dogs too.

Re: My poor dog

I had not heard of the 'McTimothy' method, Mups, but I am so glad it has worked for your furry friend. We feel so helpless when one of our pets is unwell don't we?

Re: My poor dog

Like others not heard of this method Mups, so very pleased Izzy is
cracking on in good health now. Just shows you that you have to
think out of the box sometimes to get good results.

Re: My poor dog

Our pets can often benefit from less invasive cures same as us - our vet does chiropractic and acupuncture methods on Alice sometimes and she seems to benefit - she is an old dog with a bit of stiffness.

I'm pleased it is working for Izzy.

Re: My poor dog

Thanks Annabelle, so far so good. She's only had the one treatment and, touch wood, her neck is no longer hurting her. I'm so glad I went.
