Our Cockatiel Died

Our wonderful, cheeky Poochie whom we adopted last June has gone to bird heaven

We took him in at 15-20 years old, we never really knew his real age. He was out 24/7 as he got used to that & we let him have his way. He was our only bird that would do loud wolf whistles.

He will be sadly missed

Re: Our Cockatiel Died

Yes Autumn, I remember Pats was lost when her bird passed.
They are precious to us - try to console yourself with the fact that you gave him a good home and love, so he was very happy.
Missing him is the hardest part, but fortunately you have many other animals to distract for a while x

Oh AC, that is so sad, poor Poochie. Try to think that he ended his days in a loving home and not being mistreated somewhere else.

Sorry to hear that AC. I'm sure he had a wonderful home for as long as he was with you.

Re: Our Cockatiel Died

I'm sorry AC. No matter how long we have our pets, we get so attached to them.
Poochie lived a good long life, and you can bet he enjoyed his last year flying free.
