If anyone saw the Wild Burma programmes at the end of last year they showed an elephant boxed in and surrounded by men who were hitting it with all sorts of implements to break its spirit. Where is the humanity in that? Makes my blood boil.


I have seen film of orphan baby elephants being beaten and even having metal spikes stabbed into them by evil b*****ds as well to "break their spirit". These beautiful animals are made to be so afraid and totally subservient to man. I don't even want to think about it because it upsets me so much, and fills me with loathing for those people. It is beyond my comprehension.

I´m another one who hasn´t clicked on the link. I get very upset when I see or read stories of cruelty, it affects me for weeks. I look at my two little dogs and I think if anyone ever attempted to hurt them I´m sure I´d be capable of murder.
