I love Knitting, but it's a Winter Evening thing for me. That Mug Warmer is just Awwwwww lol.
Actually seeing that has reminded me....It's time I rooted out our Big Heavy Winter Sweaters and gave them a freshen up wash before the Winter arrives....groan.
Well I'll post a pic of my first attempt at knitting the cosy and you can rate it on a scale of one to ten. I rather think it won't be pronounced 'perfect'
I have two granddaughters who want to learn to knit, it would be easier teaching Japanese (not that I speak it) but I'm weary of straightening first one then the other with their dropped stitches. I'm thinking of hiding when they come.

I got my 85 year old mother to show me how to do the cable stitch this evening. Will take the project along when I visit so she can critique my work. She's very patient with me... so far!
