The Heads of State are in discussion about who should be the Head of the Commonwealth when the Queen dies.

It is not a given that it will be anyone from the UK.

We could well have a complete change, every Country has an equal vote.

What are your views?

I had always assumed it would devolve to Prince Charles along with crown - but they were discussing it on Radio 4 this morning and, apparently, as you say Swimmy - it is not necessarily so.

Have lost track of who is/isn't part of the Commonwealth now - so not sure who would be eligible for the title.

Will it be the people who vote or the Governments concerned?

Hmm ... not sure I would be comfortable with some of them as Head of Commonwealth - america, africa or pakistan to name but a few. Can we not persuade HM to name her own successor?

We are wanting to turn it into one huge Trading Bloc, part of our Post Brexit Plan.

If we had to hand it over I'd say Canada or if it was possible make it an annual thing and take turns, that would make everyone feel more equal I think.
I was tempted to say Rwanda hoping it might be healing, but I'm unsure how they are doing these days if it would be possible.
