I was working in Leith today. Had a little job on The Shore next to Mimi's.

I then had to go to Charlotte Sq ( Actually Glenfinlas St ) to another little job before heading back to Portobello for a kitchen rip out.

As I was driving through I was contemplating how really beautiful Leith can be. There are some fantastic buildings from it's port heyday and all the little pubs, restaurants etc plus the waterside areas makes it one of my favourite parts of Edinburgh. Its also still a busy working port, which adds to it's character.

You are right the Leith area especially the shore area is very smart now and busy in the summer, and they are still building and improving.
