Grouting done and shower head and towel rail in. Shower panels and new toilet cistern to fit now and also new floor coveringThen for Sue to paint and me to put up the mirror which means moving the shaver light unit up a few mm.
they, the previous owners even bodged with the old mirror. To get it to fit they "nibbled" along the long edge
The one in the photo is a bit bigger but by moving the light up a couple of mm it fitted perfectly. An added bonus is we already had this one from when we moved
Just got to get the proper mirror screws and caps now

i don't think I have had to get in such an awkward position for this shot. Using the D810 and 24-70mm lens (my 12-24DX lens was no good for this), and sitting on the vanity shelf hard up against the window
This is our new en- suite shower unit , ceiling yet to be painted

well this evening the workmen have finished , LED lights are amazing how bright they are compared with what was there. Showers work, they had to swap hot/cold due pipes to a left handed plumber originally who didn't know left from right.Sue is doing the painting of walls and ceiling, why pay £450 for a painter to do it when all it costs is a couple of pots of paint.
The amount of room now in the en suite feels as if it has doubled in size now that monstrosity has gone. Tuesday the rubbish is being picked up so that is all outside at the moment.
Ok it cost a bit to have done, but if we wanted to sell,which we don't, this would help sell and hopefully add a bit on the selling price.
