I went in to the pharmacist last week to get a presc (needle, prolia, for osteoporosis)...
I told him to put it in my cooler bag as it has to be kept cold. He informed me that he could give me the needle himself and he escorted me into a small room he now has set up for such things, as well as advice, etc.
I was very surprised. Better than waiting in the doctor's office.
This is why I get my pharmacist to give me my annual flu jab. If one goes to the doctor, it is a block booking with twenty or so people waiting. If I go to the pharmacist he will do it when I ask and frequently there are no other people in the shop, so no waiting amongst potential germ carrying patients.
