yours is more out than mine ,, it looks lovely Azure, another week and mine will all be out ,
Ive noticed this year how there is more flowers than previous , maybe due to all the rain we had .

We used to have 2 lilac trees in the garden when I was growing up, I always liked them.... but alas, no room in my garden for one.

This Shrub is 30 years old Eliza, and it is huge even with pruning. I have two of them and a small pink one as well
the perfume is gorgeous.

Yes, they the can grow into huge shrubs they are pruned annually.
