they gave over 2000 strangers goodie bags, it doesn't worry me that some are trying to cash in on it.

These are the representatives from various charities, right?
Perhaps they're going to donate the proceeds to their chosen causes?

A chocolate coin and a fridge magnet ... oh that sounds so tacky. I hope the goody bag itself had a bit of panache.

Just looked on ebay and there's one up to £5,700.00. There are reports of some asking 50K for them.
