Simple maths.
We still need to borrow massively every year even with all the cuts we have had.
Nationalise without compensation and we would be bankrupt, we would no longer be able to borrow, nobody would lend to us.
If we merely printed the money the £ would be worthless, mega inflation, huge shortages of raw materials and end up like Venezuela.
