Bathroom tiles

Any recommendations for what kind of tiles, or colours, patterns etc are best for a bathroom and a shower?

Re: Bathroom tiles

I don't have a bath, just a shower, and I had a specialist come in and do the flooring.

The tiles I'm going to get are for the walls, not floor.

Re: Bathroom tiles

I had all white tiles with a dimple effect , you can not notice the effect though ,,Mines a small bathroom and so i wanted it to be bright I got that,,The tiles reflect light ,, any other colour would have made it look smaller ,,its also tiled from floor to ceiling on all walls ,,very clean and refreshing look
I have since thought i might have liked a narrow 2" patterned tile going round the middle to give it that little extra touch ,theres some very nice border tiles to choose from ..

Re: Bathroom tiles

Best thing we ever did was tile in white, means we can change the colours in the bathroom whenever we want with towels and mats etc when we had coloured tiles we were stuck with same colour scheme all the time.

Re: Bathroom tiles

Keep it simple keep it light ... Colours age and date a room quickly and whereas you can pant over a colour in other rooms a bathroom is not a room you can change easily.

By having white or very light tiles you can use accessories to change the mood.

ooops, silly me, sorry

I have white tiles, this way if you ever want to change your colour scheme then it should match.

Re: Bathroom tiles

My bathroom is also tiled from ceiling to floor with white, with a navy border at the top, so blue towels etc to match, but if I wanted a contrast I could.I am thinking of fuschia, maybe for a little change.
Looks nice and fresh and clean. White would be my recommendation, goes with everything, and doesn't date.
