Tumble dryers

Has anybody bought a new one lately? And what was the verdict? Did all the washing come out separeately or was it all entangled into a large sausage shape?

Re: Tumble dryers

I use a washing line to dry clothes I understand tumble dryers use a lot of electricity so are very expensive to run.

Nope never tangles, the wife puts my balls in with the load. Also good for fluffing the towels up that get hard on the line dry.

Re: Tumble dryers

Oh I wouldn't want to be without mine, it's so convenient. But yes, it's more expensive than drying outside.
My friend needs to buy a new one and she can't find one that doesn't tangle the clothes. Mine is a Creda and they're not around any more. What happened to them?

Re: Tumble dryers

I've never owned a tumble dryer, never felt the need for one as my washing always goes out on the line.

I suppose they can be a necessity if you live in a flat though.
