Hi everyone, just phoned my mum back home and she says its really warm. Some of my workmates in the hospital are on Facebook saying its so warm in there. I'm glad we're getting some decent weather as we deserve it.Its been really warm here but the air conditioning helps!! We've had mostly quiet days and out with friends in the evening - all 15 of us!! I'll need to check into The Betty Ford Clinic when I come back

Evening Each,Alice I'm sure it's as hot here as it is where You are,but no air-con'Helicopters have been hovering around the sky above Us all day here,and I'm sure they will continue to do so until the Games have finished...I'm just around 5 miles from Celtic Park where the opening ceremony takes place Tonight,so I'm sure I'll be able to hear all the cheering etc

A late Good Morning Each,sun's blazing and the washing I hung out on the line an hour ago is bone dry already.Been yacking on the phone for an hour with My Eldest Granddaughter who's coming to visit Me from Dundee Tomorrow...She graduated with Honours,a PHD,and a Four Year Scholarship from Strathclyde University last Month...Gets Her Brains from Her Granny of course
The sun will still be shining Tomorrow Tess so enjoy Your well earned rest

Morning May......almost afternoon lol........I will enjoy my day off.....there are no walks with any of my groups so I might go on my own if I can get a couple of hours which are not too hotCongratulations to your granddaughter and of course she gets her brains from you.......grandchildren get all their good traits from their grannies

A very good Morning Each,no cloud this Morn to start off with,just bright sunshine and wee fluffy white clouds...Off to shops early for odds and ends,G/Daughter is vegetarian as are MY eldest Daughter and two other G/Kids..Can't remember if They eat cheese or eggs ..oh well..salad and fruit just in case....Have a good Day whatever You're doing.

Good morning all. Last day of our holiday. Home tomorrow the apartment has a washing machine so very little dirty washing to take home which is a bonus!Tess enjoy your day off

Walked to Straiton and did my shop then got bus home.Very hot but also very good for the soul. Walk is about 6 miles all in so feeling a bit tired now.......but alas the housework awaits so I'll need to find a bit of energy from somewhere Myra I hope you enjoy the last day of your holiday.

Jeeze,it's hot,so I've not been walking anywhere except to the local Co-op....I never thought I'd be wishing for rain
Michaela's not staying with Me for the Weekend,just the Morning/Lunch,She's now gone to visit Her other Granny/Grandad,then onto Her Godsons 4th Birthday party,and finishing the weekend in Her Boyfriends Parents House in Glasgow.
