Re: Christmas Lunch in Wales

I've just emailed Audrey and Ken and even though we may be a small group:-

5 definites + ? Audrey and Ken

4 possibles.

I'm happy to go ahead as otherwise our lunches could die a death.

Anyone else have an opinion to share ???

Can I just pop in and say I hope you all have a lovely day. It's great to meet up. We're having our Scottish Christmas lunch on Sunday 7th December,in Glasgow. I've organised the lucky dip and we've all picked our food! Looking forward to it already, meeting friends and having a good old natter. Have a lovely time Infact, one of the Scottish group has met some of the Welsh group!! Merlotjess

Re: Christmas Lunch in Wales

Hi Alice and thanks, I've met Jess and many other Scottish posters on the old Saga site. Have lovely memories of a great weekends in Pitlochry, Inverness and Cardiff.

Sorry you can't join us Enfys, if I'd known Thursdays were a no no for you we could have looked at an alternative. Another time perhaps??

Lunch now booked

12 midday for 1230 p.m on Thursday October 30th at Tafarnyderi, Llanedi. Looking forward to seeing everyone and if anyone else wants to join us you will be so so welcome.-

Just spoke to Rose, she said she was coming on her own, she got the address, but don't seem all that sure about things, maybe Dave could have word with her. See you on Thursday

Re: Christmas Lunch in Wales

Sorry Rob I can't oblige, have lost Roses telephone number.

For anyone travelling west on M4 easiest way is

M4 to Pont Abraham roundabout---3rd exit---sign posted Ammanford. Up the hill to right hand turn signposted Llanedi. About 2 miles and Tafarn y Deri is on the left in the village. Large conservatory to rear.
