Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

My daughter is getting me a new bulb today Sue but it wasn't too bad with the torch and I've finished the meds . I do feel more shaky off them but better than night-time visitors lol
Chilly and overcast here, no rain just yet
I was thinking about Xmas cards . I mainly send them to friends and family overseas ,may take a look later

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Our Christmas Fair in the Village Hall this afternoon, when Father Christmas and his elves came to see the little ones. Made a few pounds for the Church on a tombola stall and I hope we made a few pounds for the Village Hall running costs. Don't think people were spending like they used to, but hey, it was a grand village "do", good for the community.

Interesting visit to the Powys Archives in Llandrindod this morning. Don't know when I've seen so much paper all in the same place. Hope their fire precautions are spot on!

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Comes to something when the stamps cost more than the card.......

Really think I've done the wrong thing buying this laptop. It's probably going to drive me to drink. I definitely need a book to help with Windows 10 - I can't work out what I'm doing and compared with this old desktop it actually seems slow! (But probably because I'm doing it all wrong.....)
