PLEASE don't let anyone talk you into having her spayed before she has had her first season Jazzi.
If anyone advises you to, don't listen.

If you don't want to take my word for it, have a read of this. Hope it helps you to decide:

A bitch that is spayed while too young will not have had the opportunity to have begun producing oestrogen and other essential hormones, which can lead to a range of problems in later life. Urinary incontinence can result from inadequate oestrogen production, a condition that cannot be reversed and will require ongoing oestrogen supplementation for the rest of their lives; something that is of course, not ideal for many reasons. Once your bitch has completed her first season, you should seek to have her spayed shortly afterwards .This ensures that she has reached sexual maturity before spaying.

Thanks Mups, I don't need to make a decision for a couple of months.

They usually have their first season anywhere between 6 months and even a year, so I'd forget about it till about next spring/summer.

I agree with mups on spaying about 9 months to a year I usually do it, because it means of there are any problems the vet will have seen them by then. It's becoming fashionable to do them really early another USA import IMO but they aren't as healthy and sometimes bones don't develop properly making them much weaker.
