You said it.

We usually use the car park over the road from the northern tip of the wall.

Re: Over 50s Club Yorkshire

I enjoy seeing the lovely photos of our beautiful county, I really need to spend some time in the Yorkshire Dales this summer.

Summer, we always use the Park n Ride when visiting York and it’s reduced fares if you’re over a certain age!

I think there are several JBR. We use Grimston Bar on the Hull Road. I think it’s around £1 return for oldies!

That's not bad. Cheaper than paying for the car park.

Does that include parking (how long?) AND the return shuttle bus?

Sorry to bombard you with questions!

Re: Over 50s Club Yorkshire

I just go to the multistory in the centre it costs me a bomb...daft really I should look for something cheaper but I get anxious trying to look and drive at the same time and it's easy to find that one it's sometimes full though. I have been known to give up and just go to MacArthur Glen centre outside York and shop there instead

Yes, free parking all day and return fare. At least it was last time I went which was a while back.

We often go to MacArthur Glen too summer, you can spend hours in there and it’s ideal in the bad weather. I think you can get the Park n Ride from there as well.
