Clearing up now after a very wet start . I'd already put my wash on my indoor airer and it can stay there now

Heavy rain first thing....my poor roses are decimated by it
Stayed in Gwbert many years ago....not in the Cliff too expensive for us at the time.....our b and b didn't serve alcohol and as it was when Wales was dry on a Sunday we used to go to the Cliff....you were supposed to be resident in the hotel to get a drink....the barman said it was surprising how many rooms had multiple occupancy.....you had to give your room number to get a drink

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Well done Wales - even though it's the wrong shaped ball!

Had a lovely morning meeting and greeting in the Cathedral in Brecon yesterday. First couple through the door were from Adelaide, S. Australia, second couple (two young ladies) were from Minnesota and on their way down to Swansea for a few days, third couple were from Pennsylvania and to round the morning off a coachload from Gower arrived. There is a beautiful cross suspended from the roof in the centre of the cathedral and it was made from driftwood by a lady living in Reynoldston/Rhossili, so they were all interested in seeing that!

Off to take Rob out for lunch this morning as we have to stay home tomorrow to wait for the wheelchair engineer. I shall be thinking it's Wednesday all day today and will have lost a day by the end of the week.
