One for Julie.

I hope you can help me. The tops of my kitchen cupboards are a light beige, slowly down the years they have lost a bit of brightness, my usual method is to jus cover with something like a bleach based product leave for a while then clean-down with clean hot water.

I know you use Bi-carb and white vinegar, so if its ok how would i mix /apply it ? as a paste or a solution. ?

Hi

Formica?

First clean with Elbow Grease cleaner, it is only a £1.

Then a rub with a Magic Sponge.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Magic-Spo...-/142322986832

Use warm water with it and a bit of Vanish powder, Lidl's is just as good and much cheaper.

Dry with kitchen towel and then apply baby oil and wipe off.

Clean, sparkly work tops.

If you need a truly super duper job, use this

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-Metre-L...AAAOSwCJRZkeQS

Soak it in meths before you use it , don't do circles, just long straight strokes.

You use it before the Magic Sponge.

Worktops like new, for less than a tenner.

Re: One for Julie.

I use those magic sponges too - just soaked in hot water as per instructions. I was a bit sceptical when I first got some but they were the only thing that could clean my wall cupboards around the hob properly. Cillit Bang and Mr. Muscles products didn't come anywhere close to the sponges. Also use them for cleaning my window frames.

Re: One for Julie.

Can you get them from places other than ebay?
I only ask because I've never done ebay.

Yup.

This is what they look like.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ERASER-CLEA...A03BBRSGAAKVSE

Large companies like Flash do their own versions but at a premium price, these cheaper ones are more than up to the job.
