WTO Rules.

Hi

We are leaving the EU, one of the main reasons promoted by the Hard Line Brexiteers is freedom, we will no longer be a rule taker, free to follow our own path, to set our own Rules.

Sorry Folks, but that is a complete myth.

The WTO has rules, very strict ones.

The EU could have been very good for us, a major player and contributor.

Our useless Politicians have allowed us to be run over, in Poker terms, they have folded the best hand.

I voted Leave in despair, I will not be dictated to by Merkel, Macron, Juncker and Co.

Even tiny economies like Poland and Hungary and others have told them to naff off, we have not had the guts to do so.

We are off to the WTO, no longer a big player and having to accept their rules.

One of which is Borders.

We are not in control of our own destiny, we have to follow WTO Rules.

A Trade Deal with the USA, the biggest single economy in the World?

More protectionist than the EU.

We cannot get a deal with the USA unless we agree to abolish price fixing by the NHS for Medicines.

That is just plain bolloxs.

Re: WTO Rules.

^^^^ Like I've said before.....A Remainer masquerading as a Leave voter.

You've blown your cover too many times to cling to your fictional 'Leaver' persona, but no doubt you'll persist.

As for rules.........of course there are rules in international trading relationships. ....We're not trading in some hookey marketplace nor from the back of Del Boy's three wheeler !

We left the EU so as to escape the 'Ever Closer Union' ambitions of the Autocrats ......Even the BBC has lost any pretence and refers to the EU as a country in it's own right these days.

No-one ever agree that the UK should be subsumed in to an EU supestate so anything that is 'Other' than that is all good.......whatever the negative consequences.

You can fear-monger all you want but leaving the EU is best for the long term future of the UK.

Hi

No rebuttal of the facts, just a personal attack.

Such is life.

If you debate politics it is not unreasonable that your integrity is called in to question when you claim one position but your narrative projects another.

If that feels personal.......such is Life!

You didn't provide any facts for rebuttal just a couple of statements that may or may not be facts but one thing for sure you are wrong to say that we are no longer a big player and intimating that the EU doesn't have to abide by WTO rules.....
News for you...Yes it does!

And we are the 6th biggest economy in the World.....

Btw being a 'big player' isn't the be all and end all' anyway!

The evidence certainly points that way, doesn't it?
He's certainly a 'prophet of doom' anyway, and I see no point in debating the matter with him.

And here's yet another prophesy of doom, from a different source this time:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...leaves-EU.html

And this:

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...-a8451136.html

These remainiacs are becoming increasingly desperate to overturn our democratic decision and impose their own preferences regardless.
