I wouldn't bother voting in such a referendum quite simply because it has now become clear that governments seem to take no notice of the outcomes!Oh, if only we could have the Swiss system of legally binding referenda.
That is what I'd call true democracy.

coincidental my dear watson!! but sensible when you think about it - you've been moaning about 'undesirables' in UK on many threads.yes the brits are how being shown all around the world how it can be done better than they do - OZ is now kicking out undesirable Kiwki ; Trump is kicking out Mexicans ; and the Philippines and Indonesia are shooting drug dealers - England just seems to have become too soft?
