Yes there are many people on both sides who are willing to work together and want to live harmoniously. There is a lot of sympathy for Palestinians among ordinary Israelis, but the politicians and outside interference gets in the way. But much of the news reporting here is not reflective of the real situation on the ground in Israel and Palestine. The groups have far more in common than they have to set them apart. They both love that land. They both have a shared history of it. I'm not sure of the solution but in the West there is little understanding of the reality.
