And these are the horrid grubs...



The grubs are usually under the leaves and are slimey and disgusting. The only way to get rid is to pick them off and squash them, same with the adults.

They are poisonous to cats I believe you will find, but only if the cats eat them.

These are my Triffids, they don't sting but they are definitely out to get you with their spikes. I like them - they are a challenge for the grandkids when they visit.



They only flower in the middle of winter.
