Not far from where I used to live

Has opened a pet cafe, called paws for tea.

Take your pet in with you and have a cuppa, I am just wondering would the dogs be barking at each other is it something you would do yourself!

Re: Not far from where I used to live

I saw an article about this a a dog magazine, Jean. I'd be grateful if mine could come in somewhere with me if I wanted a cuppa because too many are being stolen that are left tied outside places now. It's getting big business for the dog thieves. I just hope they don't get silly with it and start letting them sit at tables etc.
I believe there is a pub doing the same sort of thing somewhere as well.

In Spain, you can take your dogs to the cafe with you and, in my experience, they have always been very well behaved (we only ever sat outside with our dogs so not sure if any were indoors). Other people's dogs were never a problem other than if they suddenly came out from under the table when the waitress was passing! That caused a few scares.

Mmm, they'd all need to be reliable and well behaved as you say, else it woudl just spoil it for everyone else. Hope they all go to the loo before they go in too! That's a point - what would you do with your dog if you need the loo I wonder?

It would be a problem if you were on your own. Many cafes there put bowls of water outside for the dogs too. It's probably like at the vets, most dogs behave. It would, I suppose, always come down to how well the owner has trained the dog and has control over its behaviour.

Cats! What if they jump on your table and run off with your pilchard sandwich!

You don't like pilchards either then (no idea why I even put pilchards).

I wonder if anyone actually has them in a sandwich? I like them with salad, my tum doesn't though!
