Such graceful birds. I live near a river and see the swans with their babies every year.

Lovely we have some on the lake where I walk the dogs when they have babies we have run as they get a bit feisty !

I sure like those photos! I found a pair of mute swans last spring and took photos almost every day until they left. Their nest had nothing hatch...I was told it was their first nesting, so if they return maybe they will raise some kids. I was impressed with the width of them walking on land...like monsters...but in the water they are so graceful. I never got tired of watching them...amazed at how they can turn their necks. Thanks for sharing the swans.

Thanks everyone, as winter draws on we can have hundreds of swans on the lake.
