Hi

The thing is Mups that this has been a very effective technique used for many years.

I was first shown it forty years ago, in Africa.

It, like many other things, is being wrapped up in all sorts of rubbish in order to sell books, encourage people to send vast amounts on so called Therapists etc etc.

Simple is best, it costs nothing and it works.

It has been used for hundreds of years, African Tribes, Chinese, even the Ancient Greeks used it before battle.

The simple old things are often the best.

Re: Tapping

Unlike some alternative therapies I can see logical reasons why the tapping technique might work
It contains elements on focusing on something to induce distraction, self-hypnosis and touching which has been shown to release endorphins .

It is a little bit like the 'Tellington Touch' (which is used on animals) for humans .

Re: Tapping

It seems that 'There is nothing New under the Sun', as Tapping is taken from very old methods of healing

Incidentely, when men are trying to solve problem.they tap on their chins and they scratch their heads too.

They are really using tapping to relieve stress it seems!

Hi

Tapping chins and scratching heads?

Well not at the same time Azure.

Us men cannot multi-task.

Re: Tapping

Can't say I've ever heard of it before.
I wonder if it's the tapping or positive reinforcement of the mantra chanting that works?

Chanting does calm the nerves.
The Monks chant all day in the Monasteries.
They make lovlely wine as well.
I think they drink some of it too.
