Finally on the last leg in getting my mum home.
After a month of behind the scenes discussions, fighting the system(care companies) and issuing legal action I've finally secured the services of a company that is willing to offer the care levels needed by my mum.We are hoping it will all be in place for her to come to my home on the 29th of this month.
I found out literally an hour ago so raced to the hospital to give her the news, both of us were in floods of tears.
So much for the roughie, toughie builder.

I'll get her home no matter what.
She really has had a tough few years, especially the last 9 months.
She deserves a little pampering, home cooked food and happy in the knowledge that her final months/years will be spent with and close to her family.
A bit of normality and security is well needed.

About time a strong woman kept a tight rein on you and made you behave. Does she know how you run riot on here?
