Re: I've had my chest x-ray

Thanks - it was nice, just finishing a book about the end of the Romanovs which has taken me ages....have the new Stephen King after that.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

I’m not a reader Ffosse, I wish I was! My mind wanders too much and then I forget what I’ve read! I would love to be able to get immersed in a book.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

Well when I was really unwell I could only read for 10 minutes or so then promptly forgot what I had read, but it's coming back to me slowly.

Best to stick to the telly or music if you can't get into reading.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

Well, I've had my pasta and Malbec and most enjoyable it was too. I only have wine twice a week and then on consecutive days so it doesn't go off. I probably shouldn't with the meds I'm on but it's only a small amount of wine and I have to have a vice (OK, my vaper too). It's never really gotten warm outside today (15c) but I did a washing and hung it around my house with the windows open. Now on to my book - see if I can read until 8.

Do you know, it’s a strange thing, but if I’m out for a meal in a restaurant, I can drink a couple of large glasses of red, but at home I struggle to drink half a small glass!

Pleased to hear it Ffosse, me too, I always feel best in a morning. The sun is shining here but not sure how warm it is.

Yes, it's just 11c here - not as warm as predicted.
