I suppose when you think about it, in the olden days many mothers, usually the poor, used a drawer to put their babies in! The baby box is similar.

Talking about Bounty bags, l got one in the 1970's for three of my children who were born then.
They were great, with free samples, money off vouchers and lots of booklets on baby care.

Many years ago when I suggested our first baby could sleep in a drawer on the floor my wife nearly divorced me on the spot. Now they give you a box to put the baby in.
