I don't believe there should be an age limit for being an MP. What I do think is that there should be an "experience" limit. No-one should be allowed to be an MP unless they have lived in the real world for at least 20 years after leaving school. An increasing number of our MPs are so far removed from the real world that they are truly clueless when it comes to understanding the ordinary people they (should) represent. Too many of them are going direct from school to university, from university to party "think tank" and from there straight into a constituency. These cloned "suits" are a major part of what is wrong with politics today.
