Everything goes up, never comes down in price. They always find some excuse to why they don't pass on the cuts.

Personally I always used to try to buy mid week because fuel was as much as 10c a litre cheaper than on the weekend but these days you can never tell

Petrol has nearly always been a rip off Roxy, I remember when I use to pay 1s.11 d for a gallon ( less than 20p in to days money), even then people were complaining about the tax duty and say it if get to half a crown I will pack in driving.
Me, if it was £10 / gallon I would still use it.

Re: Petrol Rip Off.

The fuel companies are in existence to make money and seem to be able to do it with impunity as we are all so dependent on it in all it's forms, but the vast proportion of the cost, as we know, is fuel taxes.

The "Fuel Price Escalator" was introduced by the last government as a "green" tax with the stated aim of deterring vehicle use to ease "Global Warming". At least now they are more honest and just say they need the extra revenue..
