Re: Compulsory organ donation England
No, imo it is the government saying that many are dying unnecessarily, whilst on a waiting list for an organ, which you will no longer need. I have been on the donor register for many years as are my family. Just as they are blood donors, knowing full well that I would not be here had I not had six units of donated blood which saved my life. I may be old, but if any part of me can be used, the NHS are welcome to it, before I enter the incinerator, as I watched my mother do today.Re: Compulsory organ donation England
I'm not sure .... presumed consent .. has been brought in yet. It's one of May's brainwaves to introduce it though.Re: Compulsory organ donation England
I am against it. I do not think it’s right that I HAVE to opt out and the Government can decide to use my organs if I don’t do that.Re: Compulsory organ donation England
I'm bot sure if I'm in favour of implied consent, but it bugs me big time that N.O.K can block a potential doners wishesRe: Compulsory organ donation England
At risk of sounding overly sceptical and cynical ... how will they know if anyone has opted out ?Re: Compulsory organ donation England
