WOW love it.

I had two 1.4 Sigma tele converters for Nikon fit and both fell apart.
I did wonder why you didn't use a longer lens so looked it up.

See that is the longest f2.8 lens Fuji do which explains why

Thanks folks.

Yeah realspeed the Sigma TCs are pretty poor. As a budget model - which will work on both Nikon and Sigma fit Nikon lenses - the Kenko Pro DGX are pretty good!

You can get it with the lens but I didn't - I bought it separately a while after I got the lens. I was about 1m away - which is the hard part. Recognizing the habitat (new ponds 1-2 years old for these) and waiting in a likely spot, then using the right techniques to get close. Pressing the shutter button is the easy part!
